The original Dee RIB raid is back by popular demand with our original format, Donaghadee to Portpatrick!
For the first time ever, Tom McLoughlin, owner of REDBAY boats has broken with tradition and pledged his full support to an independant RIB raid. And so we are pleased to welcome Tom and the fleet of REDBAY boats exclusively to the 2008 Dee Rib Raid.
Leading our RIB raid will be multiple world record holder Mr Alan Priddy, who on 5th July 2008 returned from his 2nd circumnavigation of the world, the first time in the famous RIB 'Spirit of Portsmouth' and this time in the yacht 'Lively Lady'. We will be leaving Donaghadee after breakfast and registration in Pier 36. We will head to Portpatrick where entertainment etc etc will be provided. Then it's back to Donaghadee for an evening of entertainment and BBQ in Pier 36.
